La presitigiosa revista «The Rolling Stone» anunció en su sitio web la lista de las cien mejores canciones del siglo XXI; la cual fue elaborada por un grupo de expertos de la industria.
Músicos, productores, críticos y estudiosos escogieron sus canciones favoritas de los últimos 18 años y en número uno se posicionó la rola «Crazy in Love» de Beyonce y Jay-Z.
En segundo lugar quedó la canción «Paper Planes» del cantante británico M.I.A. y en tercero la canción «Seven Nation Army» del grupo norteamericano de rock The White Stripes.
Entre los artistas latinoamericanos destacan los temas de Luis Fonsi – Despacito Remix en la posición 91, Daddy Yankee con su gasolina en el número 100.
